We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and multifaceted technician with a real passion for delivering high quality technical support, as part of a team.
As a Support Technician you will be an integral member of the school’s technical team supporting our sector leading research and teaching, ensuring that we continue to be recognised for our service excellence and outstanding Health and Safety record.
Reporting to the Technical Team Leader, you will assist in the design and manufacture of specialist equipment and components for research activities and postgraduate projects. Utilising your CAD, machining and electronic assembly skills, you will support the set-up and ongoing activity of our teaching and research laboratories.
In common with all our technical staff, you will provide broad ranging support for departmental procurement, Health and Safety and technical administration.
