An exciting opportunity exists to join the Research, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange Service. The Research Systems and Open Science Manager is integral to achieving our research strategy aims, including the Open Access agenda and managing the Research Management Information system (Pure), which is also the University’s repository.
You will provide support in research assessment exercises and provide key management information on publications and various other elements of research activity that will inform senior leadership teams on the progress against key performance indicators.
Educated to degree level or a track record of relevant work experience in a similar role, you will have a good understanding of the nature and conduct of research in Higher Education and the obligations to disseminate publicly the outcomes of research and innovation activities. You will demonstrate the personal attributes required to build trust, confidence, credibility and rapport with team members, academic and research staff and relevant professional services teams. You will also have line management experience.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
