Senior Clinical Lecturer

We are looking to appoint an exceptional person to take part in a range of ongoing paediatric research activity primarily developing, leading and coordinating vaccine trials to be run by the St George’s Vaccine Institute. The post holder will be responsible for the writing, leading and coordinating the delivery of selected vaccine trials and other infectious disease studies and will assist in the development of future strategy for the Vaccine Institute. We would like to hear from highly competent candidates who have a strong interest in paediatric infectious diseases, vaccinology, community paediatrics or public health.  

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

• Medical degree with full GMC registration
• Experience of coordination research projects and writing proposals for external research funding 
• Experience in paediatric research for at least 5 years 
• Expertise in vaccinology and or infectious diseases 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
