The role:

To deliver high quality training and assessing to learners within the relevant sector. Programmes may include Work Based Learning, NVQs, European Funded projects, bespoke programmes and workshops.

  • 18.5 hours per week
  • Fixed term for 1 year
  • £14,175 - £15,601 per annum
  • Jubilee Court Campus, Swansea

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver assessments across a range of courses ensuring schemes/records of work, assignment schedules, are appropriate to the syllabus content and awarding body standards
  • Plan and deliver up to 12 hours per week of classroom training to learners as required (pro rata for fractional staff)    
  • Ensure training and assessment strategies and materials are planned and accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners, and that cross-cutting themes (for example, Prevent, British Values, Safeguarding, Essential Skills Wales, Welsh language) are embedded and assessed effectively.
  • Assess and monitor learner progress, including the setting of targets, maintaining records of work and achievement.

About you:

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent in any sector
  • Experience and occupational competence to assess Level 1- 4 or equivalent
  • Proven track record of assessing learners in any sector

  • Cynllunio a chyflwyno hyd at 12 awr o hyfforddfiant yr wythnos i ddysgwyr, yn ôl yr angen (pro rata ar gyfer staff ffracsiynol).
  • Sicrhau bod strategaethau addysgu a dysgu a deunyddiau addysgu yn cael eu cynllunio yn ogystal â bod yn hygyrch i ateb anghenion amrywiol yr holl ddysgwyr, a bod themâu trawsbynciol (megis ADCDF, Ethos Cymreig, Sgiliau Hanfodol, Cyflogadwyedd) yn cael eu gwreiddio a’u hasesu yn effeithiol.
  • Asesu a monitro cynnydd dysgwyr, gan gynnwys gosod targedau, cadw cofnodion o waith a chyflawniad.

Amdanoch chi:

  • Cymhwyster Lefel 3 neu’r cyfwerth mewn unrhyw sector 
  • Profiad a chymhwysedd galwedigaethol i Asesu Lefel 1- 4 neu’r cyfwerth
