Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 170 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our international team. The International Officer assists the Head of Internationalisation in delivering the University’s ambitious internationalisation plans. The post holder will represent the University internationally to help deliver the objectives in our Internationalisation Strategy. The post holder will provide effective support for the University’s agent and international schools network and identify development opportunities for the University.
Duties will include assisting in the planning and delivery of both digital and print marketing communications for international markets regular attendance at overseas recruitment events and international agency liaison. The role will include supporting the processing of international student applications in addition to providing a high level of international student support after enrolment.
The successful candidate will need to be educated to a minimum of degree level, or equivalent experience and demonstrate an awareness of international application processes including UKVI visa requirements. They will have a strong awareness of the current issues relating to Higher Education in the UK and a good understanding of opportunities for small and specialist UK HEI overseas.
