We are seeking a commited and experienced Head of Employee Experience to lead and manage our talented HR team, overseeing HR Business Partners and HR Operations. This senior role offers a unique opportunity to shape and influence the HR strategy across Oxford Saïd, aligning it with our organisational goals and fostering a future-focused mindset.
As the Head of Employee Experience, you will work closely with senior leaders, providing strategic insight, developing HR policy for Oxford Said Business School Limited (OSBSL) and ensuring the provision of expert support throughout the employee lifecycle for both faculty and professional services staff. You will also collaborate with the Head of OD to deputise for the Director of People and OD as needed, offering expert advice on complex HR issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire and develop the HR team to deliver exceptional HR services, fostering a positive, resilient learning culture.
- Drive forward-thinking workforce planning initiatives, ensuring organisational resilience and growth.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of HR systems, policies and processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards and alignment with best practices.
- Develop and elevate our employee value proposition (EVP) by innovating employee experiences and promoting well-being across the School.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a credible and trusted senior HR partner across the School and the wider University.
You will have proven leadership experience in managing HR functions within a commercial environment, demonstrating impactful decision-making and a commitment to core values. You should be a collaborative team player with the ability to build consensus across diverse teams, bringing innovation and a continuous improvement mindset to HR processes. Additionally, significant experience in providing generalist HR services in complex organisations is essential.
