About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Quality Assurance Manager to join the Faculty Team within Science and Engineering. The post holder will be the lead for the Faculty in developing, delivering and managing Quality Assurance processes. They will be a key point of contact for Schools and the Directorate of Governance and Legal Services (DGLS).
About You
The successful candidate should have significant experience working in Quality Assurance and Assessment within a Higher Education setting. They should have considerable experience in developing, implementing and managing policies and procedures and be quantitively literate. They should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to communicate sympathetically with staff and students of different backgrounds and be a team-player.
About the Faculty
This role will sit within the Faculty of Science and Engineering, which is home to five academic Schools, the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and School of Physical and Chemical Sciences (SPCS), the School of Engineering and Material Sciences (SEMS), the School of Mathematical Sciences (SMS) and the School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences (SBBS). The postholder will work with all five schools.
