EFI Space and Rental Manager

Full time - 35 hours per week

Contract - Open ended (Permanent)

The Opportunity:

Edinburgh Futures Institute has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Space and Rental Manager with a strong customer focus and analytical skills to provide coordination and resource management of all operational aspects linked to the on- and off-boarding process of EFI’s commercial partners and researchers. The post holder will also be responsible for overseeing, planning and coordinating all non-teaching activity in the EFI building by EFI, commercial partners and non-EFI users.

• Evidence of team working and the ability to manage and develop effective relationships and appropriate internal communications with academic, commercial and professional services staff across the Institute and wider University;
• Strong customer and client focus; possess a high level of awareness and concern for customer service and requirements;

• Ability to influence, guide and appropriately challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders;
• Pro-active approach to review and improve existing processes as and when needed.
