This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the development, implementation and delivery of a university wide peer support programme and strategic projects supporting student retention and continuation.
As Mentoring and Projects Co-Ordinator, you will lead on the strategic and sustainable growth of student participation and engagement in peer support as mentors and mentees with a focus on promotion, training and ongoing support. You will build strong working relationships with students and academic departments and work collaboratively with key services such as Solent Careers, Students’ Union and Business Insights teams.
Your role will also lead on and support the delivery of initiatives which support student retention and achievement, identifying groups of students at risk and developing and implementing intervention programmes. Reporting to the Student Achievement Team Leader, you will work closely with the team and liaise with Schools and other services.
We are looking for an enthusiastic multi-skilled individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to lead and support multiple projects and initiatives.
