The Centre for Teacher Education (CTE), based in the School of Education, Learning and Communication Sciences (SELCS), at the University of Warwick has partnered with the University of Cumbria to deliver a three-year Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme. This partnership accredits qualified teacher status (QTS) for approximately 600 trainee teachers annually, across undergraduate and postgraduate routes. We are seeking a dedicated Project Officer to manage and oversee this critical initiative, ensuring the quality and success of our collaboration with the University of Cumbria.
As a Project Officer, you will play a key role in managing the ITT Partnership project, ensuring the University of Warwick can recommend qualified candidates for QTS to the Department for Education. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the necessary systems and processes, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and providing regular performance reports.

The successful candidate will be a highly organized and self-motivated individual with a proven track record in project management. You will have the ability to manage complex projects within tight deadlines, demonstrating creativity and innovation in problem-solving. Building strong relationships will come naturally to you, as will communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Your proactive approach will ensure that all aspects of the project are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of project governance, you will be the driving force behind the success of this partnership.
