Derby College Group (DCG) have an exciting and rare opportunity for a full-time teacher to join our Digital Media team at Joseph Wright Centre delivering our fantastic Media curriculum. The department offers vocationally based qualifications at level 1, 2 and 3. The Opportunity
Within this role you will be pivotal to the success of the Media provision at the College which delivers to students from across the East Midlands. You’ll be joining a dedicated teaching team who are passionate about the subject.
Through the delivery of engaging teaching, learning and assessment, you will ensure that students gain an in depth understanding of topics such as;
About you
You’ll have teaching experience in Media or an industry related area and be a forward thinking and innovative teacher with students at the heart of your work. You will have practical expertise that encompass digital media principles such as UI/graphic design, digital marketing and motion graphics and a knowledge of their individual stage of production.
You’ll be fully confident with the necessary Adobe Creative Cloud’s suite of products, including After Effects and Illustrator along with other specialist software such as Figma and Blender. You’ll be able to demonstrate these skills through highly effective planning, outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
