About the Role
Queen Mary Students’ Union exists to listen, to act, and to improve students’ lives. As the Student Representative Administrator, you’ll contribute to the improvement of students’ lives by supporting our student representatives to organise activities, resolve enquiries, and support an active Student Voice team.
We’re looking for someone who brings a positive attitude when working with students and seeks to improve the student experience. You’ll be working closely with the elected student representatives and students in general, so it is essential that you have a good understanding of student needs, excellent communication skills and can meet our students approachably and empathetically.
You will support Queen Mary Students Union and BLSA to effectively run facilities and activities at the Whitechapel campus.
About You
The role is part of the Student Voice Team, which is responsible for a wide range of tasks, we expect you to be able to work individually and as part of a team to achieve your own objectives as well as shared goals.
The post is a full-time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment. Starting salary will be £27,979 per annum inclusive of London Allowance and raises one point annually as set out in the QM Pay and Grading Structure.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
