About the College
The discipline of Public Health and Social Care is a new discipline area that specialises in excellent teaching and learning to support critically reflective practitioners for the work across the broad spectrum of public and community health. The discipline is built on the values of social justice and champions equity, believing that everyone has the right to live their best life. The discipline is situation in the college of Health, Psychology and Social Care, enables effective collaborative working with similar fields of interest, providing a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.
The discipline of Public Health and Social Care has been awarded many Student Union awards for our teaching, personal academic tutoring and support of students. Our current research topics enable us to invest in a variety of areas that support practice, pedagogy and innovation across our field.
About the role
We are currently looking for a programme leader who will be lead the rest of the teaching delivery team. You will be responsible for programme development whilst also working with other programme leaders across the discipline to develop all areas. The post offers an excellent opportunity to apply for Senior Fellow, developing both academic skills, research opportunities and leadership development.
