The Operations Manager supports the Head of Administration in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of academic and non-academic administrative and financial operations of the School and is a key member of the School’s Professional Services Management team. The post holder will join a team of four operations managers contributing to the development and implementation of the strategic priorities of the School.
The post holder will lead on research and impact administration and the administration of PGR students. In addition, they will work closely with the other Operations Managers in the School to ensure the effective integration of all professional service operations across the School.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of administration of research projects and postgraduate research students. You will have a proven track record in managing complex research programs and supporting PGR students, coupled with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Your exceptional organizational skills and experience in data analysis will enable you to drive improvements in administrative processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will need to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior academic staff, students, and central services.
