About the Role
As the Volunteering and RAG Coordinator you will contribute to the this by enabling students to volunteer in the local community and to support them to raise money for charities. We enable students to volunteer in the community via 3 main streams- one-off volunteering opportunities, placements with partner charities and through our student-led volunteering groups who run projects out in the local community. You will lead in all aspects of running and increasing the profile of the volunteering service. You will also oversee our RAG (Raise and Give) activity, supporting student-led groups and elected officers to fundraise for charity.
About You
We are looking for someone who will bring a positive attitude when working with students and who is passionate about improving the student experience. We are looking for someone who has the ability to use their own initiative and has experience of coordinating volunteers or volunteering projects. Applicants should have a good understanding of the needs of students, have excellent organisational and administration skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload.
