The University of Bolton is a “Teaching Intensive, Research Informed” higher education institution whose distinctive high quality, student-focussed, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes attract students from all over the world.
Our staff are at the heart of everything we do: they are highly qualified and experienced in their fields. Staff pride themselves on being outstanding professionals that provide excellent learning, teaching and applied research and support in the provision of custom-designed, industry led courses in numerous subject areas.
The School of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences and Nursing and Midwifery are looking to recruit a Technician/Demonstrator to work across our clinical programmes. The key duties of the post holder will be to prepare and maintain the equipment for use in our simulation suites to support teaching on our programmes, and to take responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of those using the suites. You will also need to demonstrate the use of a wide range of equipment and procedures to staff, students, and external clients.
You will have a qualification in health/life sciences and significant professional healthcare experience working within health (this may be within a healthcare support role, nursing, Allied Health, Anatomy or Medicine). You should also have understanding of clinical procedures/experience of working in care. Applicants who have experience in working within the NHS and wider care services are encouraged to apply.
