Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) is a globally recognised centre of excellence, specialising in research that impacts global health. Our highly reputable Clinical Sciences department has an exciting opportunity for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate to join the team, who will support projects focused on the identification and refinement of interventions targeting viral pathogens. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative research group, supporting a diverse research portfolio.
Day to day duties will include the maintenance of mammalian cell culture, viral propagation and the development of robust methods to support preclinical anti-viral drug discovery programmes, including the development of new viral controlled human infection models.
