We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to provide key administrative support to the HR Business Partnering Team in a range of different activities, based within the HR Central Support Services Team of the University’s Human Resources Department.
Your role would include arranging meetings, drafting correspondence, taking minutes, responding to enquiries, running reports, managing documents, collating documents and providing admin support for projects and other activities of the team. In addition, attending meetings as note taker and taking accurate minutes as and when required.
As the role provides an opportunity to liaise with many colleagues across the University at all levels, you will bring excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Your organisational skills and resilience will be key, you will have the ability to plan your work and respond to different customer needs, priorities and deadlines, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will be educated to GCSE level including English and mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
In addition, you will have a relevant vocational qualification (such as NVQ 3 in administration), or equivalent work experience in a busy administrative role, preferably in a HR function. You will have proven IT skills including Office 365 (Word; Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint/Teams, Planner).
The role is based within the Human Resources department at our King’s Meadow Campus and will be offered on a hybrid basis.
This position is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours per week).
