About the Role
The CEG Administrator will be a core member of the team and will provide administrative, budgetary and secretarial support to the CEG Programme Manager. They will assist in the planning and coordination of CEG’s activities, including administering financial processes, servicing various committees, and ensuring the smooth running of hybrid events. Postholders will be able to develop their skills in higher education administration, project management, finance, procurement and HR.
About You
The successful candidate will have administrative experience, preferably within the context of higher education or the NHS. They will be competent with Microsoft Office and able to pay close attention to detail so that they can assist in creating and maintaining spreadsheets, the website, and weekly email bulletins. They will have a proactive attitude and be able to prioritise a varied workload and plan ahead to meet deadlines, with minimal supervision. Previous experience with finance or procurement would be advantageous.
About the School/Department/Institute/Project
The Wolfson Institute of Population Health harnesses expertise across a wide range of population based research and education activities and aims to be an internationally recognised centre of excellence in population health, primary care and preventive medicine.
The post-holder will work in the Clinical Effectiveness Group (CEG), which is composed of academics, researchers, clinicians, and facilitators who use data-driven tools and research to improve population health in North East London and beyond.
