Do you have a passion for transforming lives through education in a growing School of Health Sciences? We are expanding our education offerings and are looking for an experienced educator to help build and diversify our education portfolio.
About you
We are looking for someone with substantial experience and leadership related to higher education, who can contribute to development and innovation in our education programmes. You should have a substantial track record of expertise and experience of professional healthcare education, including leadership roles. You should be educated to master’s or PhD level, demonstrating strong interest and success in education. You should have demonstrable success in either educational leadership or education portfolio development, related to health professions education.
You will have skills to support the University’s transformational goals through learning, teaching, assessment and scholarship activities, which aim to provide an excellent student experience.
The role
Your education activities will be focused on contributing to our pre-registration nursing and our wider postgraduate programmes. Your scholarly activity will be linked to educational innovation and development, and excellent student experience. You will be expected to take on a substantial leadership role in the school and / or to lead on development of our education portfolio.

The successful candidate can choose to be based on either the Dundee or Kirkcaldy campus, to accommodate travel and family commitments. However, candidates must be prepared to travel between campuses for teaching and other activities. We also support hybrid working.
