About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Communications team as our Director of Communications.
This role plays a key in directing internal and external marketing and communications for Kellogg College, formulating and implementing effective strategies for internal and external audiences through a range of communication channels.
The post holder is responsible for developing engaging communications for our diverse stakeholder base, developing Kellogg’s channels through print, broadcast and online media so that they are as effective as possible with outreach, as well as raising awareness of the College and its key values to the community. The post holder is responsible for reporting on the metrics used and their success in achieving the desired outcomes. This role works closely will all College areas, and has strong relationships with the members of all it’s departments.
Kellogg College is the University of Oxford’s most international college; with a unique mix of students, it is the leading college for those reading for degrees on a part-time basis as well as hosting a strong and vibrant body of full-time students. The College’s staff and wider academic community includes members drawn from across the full range of academic and professional disciplines in the University.
About you
You will have significant relevant professional experience working in communications, marketing or PR and experience in managing and developing a website, writing a content strategy, CMS content editing and writing for the web. You will possess a degree or relevant work experience. You will have experience of project management and providing advice and guidance across an organisation and demonstrable experience evaluating communication activities and changing practise in relation to evaluation.
