A great opportunity for an Admissions Officer to join the University of Surrey within the UK Recruitment and Admissions department following our recent restructure.
The Admissions team is responsible for providing an effective and efficient admissions service for the University’s applicants. Working as part of this cross-collaborative department, you’ll contribute to the successful delivery of Admissions, primarily handling the processing of new applications, reviewing documents, assessing qualifications and handling incoming enquiries from current and prospective applicants via phone calls, emails and live chat.

Role & Responsibilities:
You will be the first point of contact for university applicants, responding to all admissions related enquiries and providing high levels of customer service in a timely and professional manner. You’ll have responsibility for the processing of these applications, making decisions consistently and fairly against pre-defined entry criteria.
Other responsibilities include:
You’ll need excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately. You should possess good IT skills, including MS Office.
This role will be based in the Postgraduate Taught Admissions Team that handles Master’s applications to the University.
