The opportunity
University of the Arts London (UAL) is looking for a skilled individual with exceptional data accuracy and attention to detail to join us as a Timetabling Officer.
As a member of UAL Timetabling Service, you will be based in the London College of Fashion and will support the production and scheduling of the College academic timetables via our CELCAT timetabling software. Acting as a first point of contact for the College timetabling team, you will assist in the efficient implementation of all timetable change requests and will respond to a range of timetabling and room booking queries.
Working closely with the Course Timetabling Leads and other UAL Timetabling Service colleagues, you will help develop and refine timetabling systems and processes to ensure that the optimum service is provided to staff and students at all times.
You will also ensure that agreed policies are adhered to, keeping up to date on room booking and timetabling protocols, guidelines and operating procedures.
About you
You will be a customer-service oriented individual with excellent communication skills, who is committed to providing exceptional support to staff and students.
With an excellent attention to detail, you will also be able to work to a high standard of data accuracy. In addition to this, you will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify ways of improving standards and actively promoting service developments.
Previous experience within an academic environment, as well as a familiarity with either computerised timetable systems or scheduling software is desirable, but not essential.
