Reporting to the Bursar, the Director of International Programmes has overall responsibility for the development and academic provision of a series of short-term educational programmes for students. The Director of International Programmes is primarily responsible for the implementation of academic programmes already constructed, and for the design of new programmes. The Director of International Programmes will recruit Oxford-based tutors for the programmes and guide those tutors in the development of academic content. The programmes will provide educational content in a diverse range of subjects to non-matriculated students. The Director of International Programmes will liaise closely with Lincoln’s Conference & Events team, who will organise the residential facilities (accommodation, catering, teaching spaces) for onsite programmes, and broadcasting facilities for the online section of the programmes.
The ideal Director of International Programmes will be an individual with Oxford teaching experience who is building a career in academic administration. The successful candidate will also be able to manage the income and expenditure for the programme within the parameters agreed with the Bursar.
Salary will be £47,085 - £55,895 per annum, with the entry point dependent on experience. Benefits include free lunches when on duty, a contributory staff pension scheme and holiday entitlement of 30 days per annum and 8 Bank Holidays.
