We are seeking to appoint a Professor in the Law School to join our active and expanding group of mid and early-career researchers, and to further enhance our research profile in Law. We are seeking an exceptional and experienced individual to join our team as a Professor of Business Law. You will provide academic leadership in the field of Business Law, contribute to the development of our curriculum, engage in high-quality research, and play a key role in enhancing the Law School’s reputation.
You will join an enthusiastic team with a commitment to high-quality teaching and research which contributes to the Law School, Faculty and University’s strategic ambitions. You should be willing to share the University’s core values of creating a learning environment that is inclusive, challenging and promotes collaboration, professionalism and confidence. You should have experience of delivering research-informed teaching at an institution of higher education.
The Law School is based in the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences and has a distinguished record of supporting people and organisations. We have extensive business networks and work collaboratively with a wide range of professional bodies. We offer a full range of undergraduate, postgraduate courses, as well as a highly successful doctoral programme and professional development programmes. We have a strong track record of engagement with business and knowledge exchange including innovative developments in degree apprenticeships and professional education.
Through the appointment of this role, we aim to continue to build our research capacity, outputs and community. We seek to appoint scholars that share our mission to deliver high quality research that has relevance for practice, will underpin our curriculum and develop our community of early career researchers and PhD students.
