Hours of working: Standard working hours for the kitchen are 42 per week, straight shifts (early or late) and working alternate weekends on split shifts. The post-holder, however, will be expected to work such hours as are reasonably required to carry out his or her duties.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join Brasenose College in a team with a well-deserved reputation for excellence.

We provide for all College staff and student catering requirements including fine dining for VIP dinners, conference, summer events and weddings. We are always striving to exceed customer expectations, and the role offers variety through the academic year. The role reports to the Head Chef and Sous Chef, and in their absence would occasionally take over responsibility for leading the kitchen team. There are opportunities for on-going professional development.
Staff benefit from a regular working pattern with a set day off, working straight shifts through the week, with alternate weekends on split shifts.
The post has a generous pensions and benefits package, will be paid on Grade 4 of the Brasenose College Salary Scale currently (£24,901 - £28,488 pa depending on experience).
