We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, committed and experienced professional to contribute to our highly successful and growing undergraduate secondary Initial Teacher Education programmes.
You will have a passion for and commitment to the development of future teachers of mathematics for the secondary sector and will use your teaching and leadership experience to guide and support trainees to become excellent practitioners of mathematics. You will take a leading role in developing the mathematics curriculum for Initial Teacher Education at secondary level, including the Teaching Degree Apprenticeship.
The ability to liaise with colleagues in schools and a range of institutions will be an essential requirement in order to enhance consistency, share good practice and support the continuing success of the provision.
A Masters (or equivalent qualification) and a teaching qualification with QTS are essential. You will be willing to travel on a regular basis to support trainee teachers on placement in our partnership schools.
We provide an exciting, stimulating place to learn and work. Our standards of academic achievement are high, our environment is inspiring, and we embrace innovation in all that we do. With exceptional opportunities for staff development, our students are not the only ones who thrive here.
