Salford Business School is looking for an experienced administrator to support the effective and efficient operation of our pro-bono law clinic - SILKS. SILKS is the name for the employability activities of law within Salford, including the SILKS Law Clinic, where students are supervised by solicitor academics with practicing certificates to support the students and provide pro-bono advice to the public. We are looking for an administrator to support the subject head, SILKS Director and law team to ensure that the clinic runs efficiently and effectively and complies with all relevant regulations.
The role of the part-time (0.6 FTE) administrator is to provide flexible and efficient administrative support to the key functions of the law clinic and SILKS work and to engage with and support key stakeholders in and on behalf of Salford Business School within a busy and fast paced environment and to ensure compliance with SRA regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a legal administration environment, although broader administration experience will also be considered. Key aspects of the role will include:
