Health & Safety Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Officer to join a friendly, supportive, and positive Estates team. The role is varied with lots of opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge.

You will be required to:

  • Lead and promote health and safety for the College, through open engagement with students, staff, and visitors.
  • Coordinate the development of health and safety policies, procedures, systems of work, supported by the Assistant Health and Safety Officer.
  • Produce annual health and safety report.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of legislation, guidance and best practice, and communicate relevant changes to affected parties.

As a Health and Safety Officer, you should be confident, well organised, and proactive with good IT skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will have a pivotal role in supporting the Estates team, and no two days will be the same.

This is a diverse role where you will be building relationships with curriculum and support staff, and many other stakeholders.
