Applications are invited for the above permanent full-time post leading the Quality Enhancement Unit (QEU) of the Student Services and Administration Directorate. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and enhancement across the organisation. They will have significant experience in implementing robust quality assurance procedures, in providing robust management to a team of staff and will be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with staff across the University. As proposals are in development for the expansion of the QEU and for the review of existing working practices, we welcome experience of leading or supporting change management programmes.
Candidates should be educated to postgraduate level (or equivalent) and have extensive previous experience of managing quality assurance and enhancement in a higher education setting.
The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as reasonably possible.
The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable for this role.
Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, and in this instance the role holder will be expected to be on site in Bangor for 3 days per week.
