Senior Lecturer Salary: Grade 8: £46,974 to £56,021 We would expect a successful candidate at this level to take on management responsibility.
Lecturer Salary: Grade 7: £38,205 to £45,585
Job description:
The School of Education is seeking to recruit an ambitious full-time staff member with an active interest in teaching, research and enterprise. The School includes a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Education, English and initial teacher training (ITT). For this post we require a Special Educational Needs and Disability specialist who has experience of teaching in UK education contexts. The post holder will teach on our specialist SEND and Psychology education courses’ and will contribute to the development of our partnership opportunities. The post holder will play a key role in supporting and delivering a range of education units across a range of UG and PG courses. A specialism in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and Psychology in Education is required.
You will require knowledge and understanding of national and international perspectives and areas of contemporary research and development in the field of SEND education. You will have a doctorate, or substantial teaching/professional experience, and a publication record commensurate with your grade and role. It will be offered at grade 7 or grade 8 and with a focus on research and/or professional practice. If you wish to be considered for more than one post you should make this clear in your application.
