The Opportunity:
We are looking for highly motivated individual with experience in the natural capital and biodiversity foot printing domain to coordinate the Cities Hub within the EU Horizon CircHive project, supporting four city case-studies co-develop and test new approaches to measure and on report natural capital and biodiversity footprints. The City Hub, led by Prof. Marc Metzger, facilitates collaboration between the case-studies (City of Edinburgh Council, Malaga, Mytilene and the University of Edinburgh) and CircHive research partners to pilot biodiversity footprinting and natural capital accounting approaches. In addition, the City Hub supports peer learning and capacity building among the case-study partners and with a wider community of cities across Europe.
This post is part-time (7 hours per week) and is fixed term until 31 October 2026. We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
