About the Role
We seek a Centre Manager to provide administrative and secretarial support to the Centre Lead, and other members of staff within the Centre for Experimental Medicine & Rheumatology, to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities to include aspects of administration from financial to human resources.
About You
The successful candidate will join a 60-strong research team of scientists and clinicians dedicated to Inflammation and Rheumatology Research. The Centre offers newly refurbished offices and laboratories, cutting edge facilities and is located in the heart of the City of London in close proximity to the Barbican Arts and Music Centre.

The Centre is integrated with the Department of Rheumatology and part of the world-renowned William Harvey Research Institute (WHRI). In UK Research Assessment Exercise in 2008 65% of WHRI faculty were rated as world leading or internationally excellent and our Medical School was ranked amongst the top 5 in the UK (www.smd.qmul.ac.uk).

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), 12 months – adoption cover. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £42,405 - £49,785 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
