The Corporate and Professional Services departments are the cornerstone of the University. They each provide essential and valuable support to both each other and the Academic departments, helping the University to function in the most efficient and productive way, ensuring that the students’ experience is second to none.

Job Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced IT technician to become our senior technician. The main purpose of this role is to provide general technical support for the University as well as supporting the team of IT technicians.

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide 2nd line support to students and staff.
  • To assist the helpdesk in resolving IT issues.
  • To provide technical support for the technicians.
  • To assist the IT Customer Support Team Lead in the management of technicians.
  • To assist in technician’s PDR’s.
  • To organise and provide out of hours support for events.
  • To participate in 3rd line projects when required.
  • To provide excellent customer service at all times.
