About Us
We are the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Science (ARES) at Nottingham Trent University. Our business is nature: specifically, the environment, animal health and welfare, ecology and conservation, and agriculture and food production.
Based on the 200-hectare estate of Brackenhurst campus, our school is comprised of a dedicated team of lecturers, researchers and students who are committed to the same vision of empowering staff and students to have positive impact on our planet, through improving the health and wellbeing of environments, animals, plants and people. Our goal is to now enhance and further embed the school’s reputation, by developing our pedagogy, resources, perspectives and ambitions towards this vision.
Our approach is innovative and inclusive. We feel it makes us that little bit different. It’s our goal to have a positive impact on the planet by improving the well being of environments, animals, plants, and people. If you see that passion in yourself, we can be a new, powerful partner in your career.
