We are looking to recruit a Lead Engineer: Cloud Platform to play a critical role in the ongoing implementation and support of our cloud infrastructure solutions. By leveraging your technical expertise, automation skills, and collaboration abilities, you will contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based solutions that drive the success and innovation within this team.
As a Lead Engineer: Cloud Platform, you will design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions to support the University’s technology initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions.
The role involves provisioning and managing landing zones within architectural guardrails, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to deploy cloud-based resources and optimising cloud spending to deliver right-sized, effective and efficient cloud infrastructures across IaaS and PaaS space. In the role, you will also be responsible for imparting knowledge and training colleagues on Azure best practices and the use of IaC, enabling the wider IT team to adopt and integrate these patterns into their work.
