WMG is looking to appoint an administrator with proven customer-service experience to provide efficient clerical support for the Education Administration team and act as first point of contact for a range of enquiries from students and staff. You will staff the Student Office reception desk, manage and triage queries received into multiple inboxes, and find and relay information to students and teaching staff in answer to enquiries, provide general administrative support to the Education Operations teams, Programme Management, Module Tutors and Project Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities include processing module booking requests, producing module registers, recording and monitoring attendance, checking monitoring points, logging supervision payments and expenses, checking and publishing marks & feedback, taking ad hoc room bookings, booking hospitality, providing support to exam boards and other administrative duties relating to the delivery of our programmes in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
About You
The successful candidate will possess proven customer-focused administrative experience and experience of working on an office/clerical role. You will understand studying at Higher Education level, either through your own study or work experience. Good IT skills, particularly MS Office, are required as well as excellent written and oral interpersonal skills, this includes sensitivity to others and cultural awareness. You will need to display a high level of accuracy with your work and have the ability to learn and convey information quickly. The post holder will work as part of the wider Education Operations team but you must also possess the ability to work independently. Knowledge of SITS and Tabula is desirable.
