This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strategic Research and Knowledge Exchange Development Team in Research & Knowledge Exchange Services (RKES, central research office of University of Strathclyde). In this role, you will support strategic funding applications, provide intelligence, and build relationships with funders and collaborators.
FTE: 1.0 (35 hours per week)

The post will support the development of the University’s key research areas, with a particular focus on UK funding, to contribute to the implementation of the University's 2030 Strategy. The post holder will be working in close partnership with relevant academic leaders e.g. academic Directors of Strategic Themes, Vice-Deans (Research, Knowledge Exchange), and Deputy Associate Principal (Research and Knowledge Exchange). Working as part of the Strategic Research & KE Team, the post holder will ensure that academic staff have the best quality intelligence, guidance and, where appropriate, bidding assistance in winning research and knowledge exchange awards and income needed to achieve the University’s strategic goals for Research and Knowledge Exchange. This will involve participating in external networking, engagement with key funders of Research & Knowledge Exchange, including UKRI, and to facilitate collaboration with industry and other stakeholder partners.
