We are the University of Cumbria, for and from Cumbria and our localities, rooted in serving our communities, with people, place and partnership at our heart.
Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new "Towards 2030" strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.
Our new Digital Pedagogy Lead will play a key role in the delivery of our Learning, Teaching & Assessment Plan and Academic Strategy. Working across the University, they will collaborate with a range of key stakeholders to drive forward our University approaches to digital learning (including online and blended delivery) and enhancing the digital capabilities of staff and students. The Digital Pedagogy Lead will work intensively with programme teams across a range of subject areas to ensure that our academic programmes align with our ambitions for the future of digital learning. In order to draw upon emerging sector practice, the Digital Pedagogy Lead will foster cross-sector networks and work extensively with our external partners. Working at the forefront of educational thinking and ambition at the University of Cumbria, they will be an influential voice in our reimagining of learning and teaching.
This is a valuable opportunity to drive change at institutional scale and deliver impact for staff and students. The ability to inspire a range of stakeholders to engage thoughtfully with digital approaches to learning, teaching and assessment whilst working in a fast-paced and complex organisation is essential to delivering success in this role.
