Norwich CTU is a UKCRC Registered Clinical Trials Unit, based at the University of East Anglia in the East of England. We support a large number of Clinical Research Projects across a broad range of clinical disciplines and interventions including multicentre randomised drug, device and complex intervention trials. To support this work, we employ a large number of clinical trial managers and coordinators, data programmers, statisticians, health economists, epidemiologists and research methodologists.
As a Unit, we have a very diverse and expanding research portfolio. We currently undertake research in the fields of cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, diabetes, neurology, oncology, smoking cessation, CFS, dementia, musculoskeletal, mental health, and care and health service improvement.
We have a vacancy for a Trial Coordinator to join our team to support an ongoing, NIHR funded trial called TIPAL: Treating people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis with the addition of lansoprazole.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of conducting clinical research, experience of clinical trial administration/management, excellent communication and team working, and a keen eye for details, to join an established CTU.
A degree of remote working is possible, some on-site working will also be expected.
You will have a degree and/or equivalent experience in Clinical Trials and evidence of the ability to set up and manage effective administrative systems in trials, as well as experience of trial data review and cleaning, to support the management of the trial to completion.
The post is available from 1 October 2024 on a full-time basis for a fixed term period for 18 months.
We strongly encourage applications from all those from Black, Asian or other minority ethnic backgrounds and welcome applications from all protected groups as defined by the Equality Act 2010. Appointment will be made on merit.
Further information on our great benefits package, including 44 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays and additional University Customary days, can be found on our benefits page.
Closing date: 23 October 2024
