We wish to appoint a Senior Lecturer within the School of International Relations. You will be a scholar with an outstanding international research reputation in International Relations with a specialty in Conflict and Security (broadly conceived). The successful candidate will also have a track record of delivering high quality teaching within the broad field of Conflict and Security and have demonstrated administrative experience commensurate with a Senior Lectureship. The successful candidate will be expected to have a range of interests, to be active in research publication that strengthens or complements those in the School and to be capable of teaching the subject to undergraduate and taught postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds.
Candidates will hold a PhD in a cognate discipline. Excellent teaching skills and an interest in promoting knowledge exchange are essential. You should be able to demonstrate success in attracting research funding and/or other financial support.
