About the Role
• Suited for an early career University lecturer who has experience but is looking to expand and grow their career.
• Module leadership and lecture delivery across a number of animal modules, in particular feeding into our BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour and Training (Clinical) and BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour and Training with Canine (Clinical) programmes.
•Supporting students into and through Higher Education, enabling them to maximise the opportunities Hartpury offers.
•Passion for educating, influencing and enabling the next generation of graduates to add value to the industry, nationally and globally.
•Grasp the opportunity to foster cross-disciplinary collaborations and ambitions that will build on current strengths within the department, and across the institution.
About You
•Hold a teaching qualification/willing to complete one within two years of appointment.
•Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject area, PhD desirable, interested to hear from applicants with a background in canine / companion animal behavior and welfare.
•Recognised training qualification would be desirable, or a willingness to develop in this field.
•Highly motivated and commitment to the highest quality of teaching and learning.
•Excellent communication skills, experience and ability to work professionally with industry contacts across subject areas.
