About you - Extending expertise and excellence
Connecting more widely with key businesses, major public sector organisations and the wider society is a key aim of Southampton Business School’s new strategy. In this varied role, you’ll work closely with our Director of Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise to develop and implement our ambitious Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise agenda. You build relationships and develop new links with industrial partners and external organisations in enterprise areas such as consultancy, applied research, service provision, student engagement, technical recruitment, and development of Executive Education offerings to match client or stakeholder needs. You will be producing practitioner-focused outputs such as reports, White Papers, etc. You’ll focus on identifying partners, establishing relationships, and developing and promoting our educational services. Constantly on the look-out for ways to embed partnerships and external interactions in the core curriculum, you’ll also work on a range of non-accredited short courses for the school.
On top of this, you’ll develop ideas for a wide range of enterprise activities and partnerships with businesses, contributing to significant income generation.
You will also be able to develop activities and manage consultancy research prospects with a focus on real-life impact and co-created research proposals.
For an informal discussion about the post, please contact Professor Jeni Giambona, Director of Knowledge Exchange & Enterprise (j.giambona@soton.ac.uk)
