Cardiff University’s Student Futures division is recruiting Project Officers supporting the Career Confident programme.
The post holder will deliver the HEFCW targeted employability support for students (Career Confident) Programme, carrying out supporting work, providing advice, guidance and support to both students and employers.
The focus of the programme is to move the students closer to the labour market and help to put them in a position where they are able to compete for quality, sustainable jobs on an equal basis to their peers. One of the measures of success is the number of students who consider that their employability has improved as a result of the support.
Students will access Student Futures support with a particular focus on work experience and employability support as a means to develop, articulate and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, attributes, and experience that employers look for.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and fixed term until September 2025 to cover for a member of staff on maternity leave. The post is available from mid October 2024.
