If so, come and join the Business Fit for Future team. We are a consortium between the University of Bath, The Future Smiths, and techSPARK to deliver programmes supporting rural businesses and communities, and supporting start-up businesses on behalf of Wilshire Council, funded by UKSPF.

About the role

The Senior Programme Coordinator will manage the programmes and activities for 2 programmes which provide business support for both the Rural Hubs and Start-Up business communities within Wiltshire. 

In this key role for the project, you will:

  • manage and coordinate events, workshops and all other member activities, working towards agreed KPI and success outputs, and being the key point of liaison with partners in the consortium, University of Bath departments, all external stakeholders, and other external collaborators working on the delivery of these events, workshops, and activities
  • maximize leads and opportunities, ensuring all leads are followed up
  • diagnose each application and lead received. As the initial point of contact, it's essential to assess each applicant to ensure they are directed to the appropriate programme or referred to other local support services.

You should also demonstrate:

  • successful experience in working with different stakeholders including partner organisations and funders 
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience of working with early-stage or start-up support projects
  • excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • experience with collecting data and evidence for compliance on funded projects e.g. ERDF 
  • the ability to work independently 
  • experience in creating reports for similar projects

This is a full-time role working 36.5 hours per week, for a fixed-term period expected to be until March 2025.
