Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for a new Talent Acquisition (TA) Assistant to join our growing TA team that sits within the HR department. This is a great opportunity to work closely with the TA Manager to improve processes, create efficiencies, and drive overall performance. This role will involve hybrid working, including working at home and travelling between campuses as required. The Opportunity
Within this role you’ll develop effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including hiring managers, senior leaders, HR colleagues, agencies, job boards, and potential/active candidates. This means that your days will be varied, and you’ll have great exposure within DCG and with external suppliers. Part of your day will be spent completing administration tasks and managing data within our Recruitment ATS, HR system and in Excel spreadsheets. You’ll also work closely with the TA Manager to review and transform the current processes and templates; innovation and creativity are key within this role.
About you
To excel in this role, you’ll have great communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to quickly build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll have excellent attention to detail, achieving high levels of accuracy, and have a desire to make your mark on the department and improve processes. A passion for customer service is key, as delivering a great candidate experience is integral to the success of the TA team. It’s also essential that you are IT literate and have a great working knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
