The Oxford Cognitive Approaches to Psychosis (O-CAP) clinical psychology research group develops, tests, and implements new theory-driven psychological treatments for patients with psychosis. It is a thriving and supportive clinical research group – led by Prof Daniel Freeman - that aims to carry out work to the highest standards for patients.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic project co-ordinator, with an interest in the management of mental health focused clinical trials, and ideally with previous experience of working in a research environment. The post-holder will work closely with clinical psychologists and a project manager to ensure the successful running of two multi-centre randomised controlled trials. Key projects will be: Feeling Safer, an NIHR funded multi-centre trial testing our new guided online programme for the treatment of persecutory delusions, and Sleeping Better, a Wellcome Trust funded multi-centre trial testing our sleep therapy for patients at ultra-high risk of psychosis or diagnosed psychosis. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is keen to develop their career in a fast-paced clinical research group.
This is a fixed term two-year post in the first instance, but there are likely to be opportunities to extend.
The closing date for applications is 12.00 midday on 7th October 2024.
You will be required to upload a CV, supporting statement and details of two referees as part of your application (via the ‘Apply’ button above).
