Applications are invited for a Project Support Officer, to work with Professor Ben Goldacre and the Bennett Institute for Applied Data Science on the NHS England OpenSAFELY Service - a secure analytics platform, which provides research access to full GP records for 58M people, and facilitates efficient and reproducible analyses while fully protecting confidentiality at all times.
The successful applicant will provide organisational and administrative support to the multi-disciplinary NHS England OpenSAFELY Service project team, whose purpose is to implement the Bennett Institute’s multi-year contract with NHS England.
Responsibilities will include: arranging and supporting meetings of the project team, sometimes with external NHS collaborators, and will involve sending invitations, taking minutes, and recording actions; assisting in producing formal project reports for the Senior Leadership team and senior NHS stakeholders; provide occasional support to the wider Bennett Institute leadership team, as required.
You will have significant project support and administration experience and be capable of managing competing deadlines and priorities within your own workload. You will have strong communication and people skills, being able to identify and summarise salient points of information from meetings and to write this information so that it is clearly understandable and actionable.
You will be based in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work, but you will be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.
The position is full time (a minimum of 0.6FTE part time working may be considered) and is fixed-term until 31st October 2026 in the first instance.
