If you offer experience in higher education funding administration, this position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role at a world leading university.
You will be joining the Student Funding Service at University of the Arts London, which is an integral part of student services and the student journey.
You will have a number of administrative responsibilities relating to the dispersal of a range of funds to students. This will include:
You may be required to take an administrative lead for a specific area of funding, for example Scholarship Administration, FE Funding, University Hardship Funds, US Loans or SLC administration.
About you
You will be an experienced funding administrator, who is well versed in student funding processes. These skills and qualities will probably have been gained within a university or college of higher education, or in a similar environment.
It is essential that you have a good understanding of student finance regulations, relevant application procedures and specific student finance arrangements for different categories of student funding.
Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail are essential. A high level of computer literacy and experience with student records systems, MS Office and databases is equally important.
You will also need excellent communication skills to provide a positive and responsive service to students.
