We are seeking a Research Associate on an MRC-funded project evaluating the relationships between diseases, drugs and their therapeutic targets using existing large-scale data from electronic health records (EHRs), genome-wide association studies (GWAS) and randomised clinical trials (RCTs) with Professor Sir Munir Pirmohamed.
You should have experience in data science, biostatistics, and/or genomics, with relevant qualifications in a biomedical area. You will be expected to work with existing research staff to publish research in high quality journals and present at national and international conferences to enhance the reputation of the group.
We are interested to hear from applicants who either already have their PhD or are about to submit/have submitted a PhD in a Biomedical area or from those who hold a Master qualification but who also have relevant experience in the field. You should have a Master’s degree (and relevant experience).
This project is at an advanced stage, and we are seeking an applicant who can assist in bringing it to a conclusion.
